This is a moderately strenuous trip - no actual scrambling but some "rough" sections and could involve some bushwhacking. Meeting at elk run boulevard and highway 1a. There is parking on the east side of elk run boulevard.

If the timing is right, this should be an excellent hike for Calypso Orchids (Fairy Slippers).
Fairly level to Watridge Lake . Most elevation gain is from Watridge Lake to the headwaters of the spring. If you haven't seen the springs, before, you are in for a treat! Trail may be muddy in spots. Some snow on trail as of last week.
Parking will be at Millennium Park at end of 5th Avenue.
