This is a birding hike, so the start will be early, and the pace necessarily slow. The hike starts at the Stoney Trailhead near Kananaskis Village, and follows the power line north to the ponds. Bring binoculars and lunch. Lunch will be at the Mt Lorette Ponds off Highway 40.
