Glacier Lily Hike, hopefully the Glacier Lilies will be in full bloom, hard to predict as they only bloom for a week, also Hike from the pass and onto the ramparts for 1-2km if not posted.
Peaks 427439 & 436425. Daffern's 4th edition, vol 2 pg 211. Off-trail, some steep areas, some easy bushwhacking but mostly open. Flood did a lot of damage in this area so some rock hopping in the creekbed. These are the 2 closest peaks to the parking area.
Drive down Powderface Trail. Car shuttle required. Elevation mainly in first 4 kilometres. Hope wildflowers are in bloom.
This a second trip to Healy Meadows/Pass to accommodate those that missed the first trip, posted by Ed Neufeld. We will leave 45 minutes after the other group and from a different parking area. Hike starting near Kananaskis Village. Easy walk to visit Troll Falls, followed by an uphill hike through a wide forest trail to an historic cabin and lookout with stunning views. As always, please bring bear spray, water, a snack and lunch. When signing up, kindly provide your CSA number and your cell phone number.
