Orphan 8.8 km, 985 m, approximately 4h 30min, maximum height 2,546. Off-trail, creek drainage walk, and steep slope. Very easy scramble.
The hike will start at the Paint Pots and hike to Marble Canyon then back to the Paint Pots (parking at Marble Canyon is closed)
We will stop at the lookout for elevenses and at the cirque terminal moraine for lunch. Anybody more ambitious can hike up the cirque (about another 100m elevation) while the rest of us have lunch.
