Snow Peak starts from the Burstall Trail Parking Day use area. Water crossing at Burstall Flats bring water shoes. New hike for the leader past Burgess Pass. One small scramble section see link.
This trip will take us up to the Peyto Lake Viewpoint and then up to Bow Summit. More elevation than we normally do but we will take it easy. Bring lots of water, lunch and sunscreen. Note: meeting at Benchland Trail Parking lot at 8:00 AM
Steep rock staircase may require some agility but only way to by-pass canyon and reach the viewpoints. Group will be notified of meeting place later.
Some rock hopping and bushwhacking involved. Burstall Lakes area. Great views of French and Robertson Glaciers.
It's been a year or two since I've been up there, but I have confirmed the trail is in good shape until it peters out closer to the tarns. Anyone who has been more recently is welcome to assist in leading at that point.
