Date(s) - Fri Feb 08
Back by popular demand!
Doors open sharp at 5.30 with dinner soon after so please bring your dish ready to serve and with serving utensils.
Dancing will start at 7.30 p.m.
This is a free event. To help us plan for the evening, please sign up on the sheet which will be on the main Bulletin Board from 10.00 am. January 18th. Since we will need room for the Contra Dancing, we will be able to accommodate 120 and it will be open seating for this gathering.
Please bring along a dish for the potluck which reflects your heritage and a beverage of your choice. It would be helpful if you could create a “postcard” which explains what country it is from, the name of the dish (and if you can) a picture of the flag of that country. (Coffee and tea will also be provided.)
After the meal, there will be some entertainment……an opportunity for those who would like to, to try “Contra Dancing”. Ken Blackwood will help us try this form of dance and there will be a fiddler and piano accompaniment.
Hope to see many of you there for a fun evening.
