It’s not the camera, but the photographer who makes the great image.

I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was fourteen, learning about photography initially by trial and error and later through workshops or classes with great artists and students.  Learning to Love your Digital Camera will accelerate your learning and reduce frustration as you discover how to get the most out of your camera and become comfortable with taking images.

All you need is a desire to take better pictures, plus a camera phone, a point and shoot or a DSLR. Minimal experience required. I’ll use the least amount of jargon and I hope to convince you that good photography is more in the photographer’s eye than in the equipment.

We’ll cover composition, buttons, leading lines, cropping, visualization, and most important, how to have fun and get some great shots.  Bring your camera, questions and enthusiasm.
