Presented by Gail Smillie

Gail moved to Canmore last year after working for the past 18 years as the Director of Child Development at Calgary Family Services. She graduated from UBC with a BA in Psychology and Sociology & from U Vic with a Masters in Psychology. Gail worked with children & families for 35+ years and developed a strong interest in the neuroscience of development. This led to her presenting to many diverse audiences across Canada on topics related from the infant brain to the ‘Crazy by Design” brain of the adolescent.
Now she is excited to reflect on what is trending – adult neurogenesis or growth of our “over the hill” brains. She currently is in private practice in Canmore.

Coffee is available and discussion encouraged.  Donations are welcomed
