Local wildlife photographer Jon Huyer returns to CSA with a new presentation from his latest travels, including the incredible birds of Costa Rica and the fabulous wildlife of Zimbabwe and Botswana. From Hummingbirds to Hippos, this talk will cover it all! As usual Jon will also be sharing some entertaining stories along the way.
Jon Huyer is a Canmore-based nature and wildlife photographer who has traveled extensively in search of his subjects. He has been to the Arctic on many occasions and to Antarctica twice. His work has been displayed in the Canadian Museum of Nature, and he is the winner of the Canadian Geographic Wildlife Photography of the Year award for 2016. He is an engineer by day, and an avid mountain biker whenever he has the chance.
