One steep section on Slabs trail, but there is an easy bypass. There is also a short “exposure” section on the Midline trail.
We will use segments of the upper trails, including Centennial and Meadowview to Banff NP boundary. Then return using segments of Silvertip and Coyote. Aim is to never use the Banff Trail. Should be some flowers and wildlife, plus scenic photo opportunities. Good practice and gear-check day for the mountains.
We will have lunch on the Church steps.
