Sun sets about an hour before moon rises. Moon will be pointing almost straight along Canyon from East.
High ISO, tripod, bright flashlight/off-camera flash (for light-painting) suggested but not essential.
Date may be adjusted one day to get best moon position. Times are very flexible.
