A free five week class will be offered to Canmore seniors interested in learning about birds. No experience is necessary for this class, just enthusiasm for learning about one of nature’s most fascinating animals – birds!
Topics included in the class are: learning about, and learning to identify local birds by sight and sound; binoculars and field guides; feathers; topography; taxonomy; molt; migration; conservation; citizen science.
There will be field trips, the date and time of which are TBD.
The class runs on Tuesdays, March 24 through April 21, 3:30pm-5:30pm in the CSA Townside Hall.
