To top of big hill. May need grippers on first climb. Meet at the gravel parking lot behind the Holiday Inn.
The trail follows Lake Minnewanka to the Alymer Lookout junction and Campground 8. May be some muddy sections around the canyon near the start of the hike. Be tick aware.
Icy patches were spotty on Apr 17. Easily maneuvered with hiking poles. Meet at Trailhead Under the Power Lines south of the Dead Man’s Flats overpass.
Highline Trail to Sister's Creek & return via Frank's trail & power line. Meet at Quarry Off-Leash Dog Park
Hike changed from Grotto Buttress due to the fresh snow that is not melting. This hike will go on minor trails (with a bit of bushwhacking) that are on the eastern side of the Yamnuska Natural area past several small lakes. Note, these are different trails than the Yam hike posted for the following Wednesday.
We will hike Flowing Waters and then Middle Lake and have lunch at Middle Lake.
