Car Shuttle is necessary along the unpaved Powderface Trail. We will hike to Jumping Pound Summit and down the West Ridge to Lusk Creek, which means a longer descent (600m) On July 6, meadows were filled with wild flowers.
We'll meet at the info center on Hwy#40 at 9:00. From there we can carpool to Kent creek where we'll have to do a car shuttle to the trailhead at sawmill parking lot. an easy forest walk & crossing a suspension bridge. Once down the hill adjacent to William Watson Lodge (WWL), the hike is relatively flat with minimal elevation. It goes along the lake to the area where people have built cabins.
