This is a "Spiral Tunnels hike" combining Paget Peak Lookout for a railway system viewpoint, (530m, 7.4km); Lower Spiral Lookout; Walk-in-the-Past on the CPR "Big Hill" to wreck of narrow gauge locomotive (120m, 3km); Upper Spiral Lookout. Moderate outing with some historical railway background. Dungarees and engineer caps optional.
This is a change from Pocaterra Ridge which is partially closed due to construction and trail maintenance. This hike should also be good for larches.
