Going up the Chester Lake snowshoe trail to the meadow, then cross over to the next creek to the south (Smith Dorian Creek). involves a couple of slides and one steep uphill trail-breaking session.

I think this will be a “grippers” trip but please keep an eye on the weather. We might not make it down to the river but will go as far as is safe. Bring a snack.
