There are several steep sections to this hike.  Some sections of the trail are poorly defined so there may be some route finding involved.  The reward for the effort is fine views of the Kananaskis Lakes and area.

The trailhead for this hike is located off Highway 68 (Sibbald Creek Trail).  This hike is a loop that goes via the Baldy Pass Trail and Lusk Pass Trail and finally to the Kananaskis Integrated Forestry Interpretive Trail.  There are some beautiful views of Mt. Baldy, Barrier Lake and area.  Bring lunch and bear spray.

We will hike up to the meadows & back.  There are bear warnings in the area so make sure you have your bear spray.  Also bring your lunch & bug spray.  There is definitely some elevation on this hike.  You must have a K- Country pass to park at the Nordic Center.  If you need … Continue reading Nordic Centre
