September 30 - Level A- Pace B. (Guide Pace). Lakes and Larches of Healy Meadows/Pass. The larches should be in full color. However; everything depends on the weather. The hike is only posted as a A- hike because of the distance - 20 km round trip. The terrain is not difficult.

This is a beautiful hike through the valley to the larch stand. We will NOT BE DOING THE COL (SADDLE) ON THIS HIKE. We will have lunch at the larch stand and return. There is lots of up & down with a few steep sections but it is a nice hike. We will meet at the top of the TransAlta stairs. Should be plenty of parking at the top of Hospital Hill. Bring your lunch & bear spray.
