This is a short GRIPPER walk up Hidden Trail onto Coal Mine. Trailhead is furthest Ribbon Creek parking lot by big sign and washrooms. If meeting there, we can meet at 7 pm. Initial elevation is 230 M in first few kms. to viewpoint for hot beverage of your choosing, and turn around onto small circuit back down. While one could possibly snowshoe (if we get a big dump), grippers highly recommended. Hoping for clear skies and sighting of Beaver moon. Will try to arrange sharing drivers, unless want to meet at trailhead. Will cancel if blizzard. Leave Canmore 6:10. Meet at Ribbon 6:50.
