Birding in Bow Valley Provincial Park

Date/Time
Date(s) - Thu Nov 18 2021
9:00 am

Notes:

Meeting place: the Middle Lake parking lot in Bow Valley Provincial Park. Middle Lake is about 3.5km from the entrance to the main section of Bow Valley Provincial Park on Highway 1X.

This is a birding hike. The pace will be slow, in order to stop to watch and identify the birds along the route. At this time of year there should be good numbers of swans and geese on the river, and a few ducks to present some ID challenges.

Bring binoculars. Ice grips may also be useful.

Please fill out the waiver electronically and send it to me the night before.
