This foothills hiking loop is at its peak for the bloom of a wide array of wildflowers and it has a nice few point at a rock outcrop near the top of the ridge. There were some wet spots at the lower end of the hike after all that rain of late but I could easily bypass them. Please bring your hiking poles for the rather steep decent along a cutline. Long pants to walk through the lush grassy meadows are advisable and bug spray may be applied against both ticks and mosquitos. As usual bring your bear spray.
