This hike provides glorious views of the big peaks above Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. There is one short rockband (about 8 steps) to negotiate, but with lots of solid handholds and footholds. There is also a steep rubble hillside (about 75 vertical meters) just below the summit ridge; wet or dry, this hillside can be very slippery, especially on the descent.
