Evan-Thomas Creek to Green Monster Waterfall.
Let’s keep this weather going for a few more months
This trail has been washed out in different places but if we continue along the creek we should be able to find our trail. The trail comes to a small waterfall then it continues around where there is a narrow ledge where you will find chains & ropes to help you through to head for this Green Monster Waterfall. If we don’t feel comfortable doing this portion we will turn around and do the loop.
546m gain to Waterfall or 506m gain doing loop around creek.
We will meet at Benchland Trail Parking Lot for 8:30 and then carpool to the trailhead marked Evan-Thomas on the east side of the road for 9:00.The trailhead is not that far up from #1.
Do Not Forget your Bearspray and perhaps an extra pair of socks.
