Notes:
Due to the a few cancellations that we had just prior to our hike on Friday , we completed it,
but assured the ones that had to drop out I would redo it on Tuesday February 18th.
For carpooling you will meet at the Benchlands Trail Parking Lot at 10 min prior to 9:15 and then you’ll meet me at the Evan Thomas Creek Trail head around 10:00ish..The trailhead is 20 minutes south of Hwy#1 on Hwy#40 on the left side of the hwy, pass Kananaskis village.
Do not forget the usual :- bearspray , grippers , gators, lunch ( no need for snowshoes ).
I’ll let you know about the weather as time approaches.
Note: We do have a few chains and ropes to hold on to as you go over the top. Best way of doing it is to put your polls away and use both hands to hang on.
