Notes:
I have not done this hike this year but have done it several times in the past.
This trail passes below the steep cliffs of Tunnel Mountain and meanders along the Bow River. Be aware of the many branching trails that form part of the Tunnel Mountain biking trails network. Currently it is in good condition. There is a caution when we are down by the river because it is higher than usual at the moment as the Bow is here as well.
We will meet at Harvie Heights Rd. gravel lot 10 minutes before 8.30 and arrang car pools. We will park at the Hoodoos Parking lot up on Tunnel Mountain and walk down towards the river to Surprise Corner and return through the more forrested cooler area to return to the Hoodoos where we will find somewhere for our own packed lunch.
Bring Bear spray and Bug spray might be needed too.
