A moderate distance hike with superb views from Iceberg Lake above Bow Falls. This hike has challenges – we will help each other get over a large boulder ( we need at least one tall person on the hike to be the last person up) – the stream crossings (one out-one back) were stepping stone to stone with poles helping on my last ascent – we will walk along the ridge of a lateral moraine with one side being a very steep drop off – we will come down a moderate scree slope (about 100m vertical) and need to be conscious of releasing boulders if anyone is below us. On AllTrails there are comments about a ledge – although it looks sketchy from below, the trail is well in from the edge of a 2 to 3 metre wide ledge. In summary, I believe the challenges are very manageable.
