Notes:

Sharing the experiences thoughts and concerns of two physicians who were privileged to work for the Nunavut people over a decade of time.

Dr Jim Emmett practiced family medicine – in other words “people” practice – in Calgary over 40 years, from the mid 1970’s, retiring early in the 21st. century. He shared his practice with his wife, Dr Josie Wilson and many of his personal and professional adventures are “we” experiences as they collaborated on life as a team. A major happy medical event of their career was the privilege of delivering the children of three women who he had also delivered.
