Starting at Morant’s curve ( good photo up ) off trail to a secluded forest lake. I snow shoed to this lake but I want to check out this access in summer. One probably has to bypass some boggy areas. There is unlikely an elk rut taking place in this area because there are no larger open meadows. Mosquito spray may come in handy and bear spray is recommended.
