Lake Annette from Paradise Valley parking lot.

Notes:

“The steady hike through the subalpine forest is a perfect prelude for the wonderful sensory experience that will greet you at Lake Annette.”

This is considered a “moderate” hike by Parks Canada.

Hike up from the parking lot beside a lovely creek, follow a wider path up through heavily forested areas to a sub alpine meadow with many flowers.  There is a bridge and creek crossing and then hike up the remaining path to  Lake Annette which sits just below Mount Temple.

There is the option to stop in Lake Louise and have ice cream at the end of the hike!!

I have not done the hike this year but have heard from others that it is in good condition and that the trail is slightly longer than posted on the Parks Canada website due to some changes to the path by Parks Canada.
