This Friday morning seems to be relatively smoke free around Canmore.
Meeting point is in the parking lot behind Starbucks cafe on Railway Avenue, the walk starts and ends there.
The flood channels are already dry in the Larch Islands, except for one 5 m mud free puddle crossing at calf deep. If any body is interested coming along, please wear water sandals- prefferably with tow protection or an old pair of runners.
The whole circuit is about 6 km long and involves some off trail walking. Mosquito spray and hiking poles for balance not a bad idea.
Optional lunch somewhere in town.
