Lifelong Learning – Marie-Pierre Chappeland – Kananaskis Stewards

Marie-Pierre Chappeland has been the Kananaskis Stewards Volunteer coordinator for 17 years and in that time she has welcomed dozens of new members.
The program has been very successful in getting citizens to participate in caring for Kananaskis Country: its land, wildlife and visitors.
She and her team are immensely appreciative of the volunteers’ efforts and results, making it both a pleasure and very meaningful to work with them.
Marie-Pierre will describe the scope of the volunteer program: what it typically focusses on, examples of past accomplishments, and she will introduce the new members of the team.
