Jeremy Mackenzie is Kananaskis Public Safety Specialist with Alberta Parks. He is a certified IFMGA/ACMG Mountain Guide. He will talk about preparing for the ski/snowshoe season, clothing and equipment and what to do in a rescue situation. He will also touch very briefly on avalanche hazard with a focus on avoidance.
