We often use the north end of this trail but rarely start from south of Dawson Equestrian Camp.
We will go through the pass from the south end for about 5km, then return by the same route. There is mention of a flower meadow near the proposed turn-back point. May take quick look at short sections of branching equestrian side-trails.

WET WEATHER ALTERNATIVE.
As Lusk involves a few Km of gravel road we have an alternative in the event of very wet weather:
Banff NP, Moose Meadows to Johnston Canyon Upper Falls. Return route will depend on conditions and tourist numbers.
Decision will be made by Tuesday evening.
