Notes:

A photographic journey through Eastern Mongolia in June 2022.  A beautifully desolate, exotic, powerful and unforgettable country.  Sandstorms, nomads and herders, camels, steppes, enormous dunes, canyons and surprises.  A very welcoming and hospitable people proud of their unique history and culture – lowest population density of any country and the highest density of horses.  Rapidly urbanizing, this youthful country (1/3 of the population is less than 20 years old) is rooted in tradition but focussed on the future.  Landlocked between two super powers it has created a unique identity.
