This hike is a continuous slope up a fire lookout access trail to superb views. The hike is not difficult if there is no snow. Trail should be clear by May 8- bring grippers just in case.
Drive up Forestry Trunk Road north of Waiporous – condition of road is highly variable – depends on moisture and spring break-up.
