We are promised a waning gibbous moon at 71.5% which sets at 12:38 am and rises at 10:47 pm. Therefore, we shall enjoy the light of our headlamps rather than the moon. 😭 The sun sets at 4:44 pm, so we shall mostly have headlamps on. There are a couple of small hills, but nothing serious. Pack lots of warm clothes, grippers, a hot drink, and a head lamp. We shall toast the New Year at the viewpoint. If more than 10 people show interest in the hike, there will be a second group.
Please plan to join Jim and me and Linda and Dwaine at 282 Grizzly Crescent immediately following the hike for holiday cheer and chili. 🎊
