Perhaps one of the longer drives all year: Drive on Hwy 40 to Highwood House, then south onto Hwy 940 to Cataract Creek Recreation Area. Campers might wish to plan an overnight and hike Raspberry Ridge or Plateau Mountain the next day.
There is a Mt Burke Traverse Loop that one can do, but my hike will be out and back, with a lengthy lunch break to soak up the views. Will cancel if weather poor and post a more suitable and closer substitute. Will try to arrange drivers prior. Please let me know if willing to drive.
