This is an interesting one with lots of variety in terms of views, rock formations, and scrambling. There is a steep grind for about an hour at the outset, but not too bad after that. Bill Rowe and I completed this in just under seven hours a few years back, but in a bigger group, I’m thinking 7.5 to 8 hours. A helmet is not a necessity but would not be a bad idea, so I would recommend bringing one.
