You’ll meet at the Benchlands Trail Parking Lot 10 min prior to 8:30 to carpool. I will meet you at the info centre on Hwy#40 around 9:00 and we’ll continue to Rawson Lake. We’ll have lunch at the lake and enjoy the scenery.
$5 from Canmore to info centre and $9 from info centre to the trailhead. Total $14/passenger
Do not Forget your bear spray, name tags, mosquito repellent
* This is a redo of Rawson lake, even though we got to the lake last time , we had hard snow 2/3 of the way up to the lake and then we made potholes all the way where we sat down around the lake and had lunch. It was not pleasant due to three feet of snow. It’s a beautiful hike so I promised we would do it again.
