For those that are coming from Canmore, you’ll meet at Benchlands Trail Parking lot at 8:20 to carpool. The fewer cars the better on the road for gas consumptions. I will meet you at the info centre on #40 around 9:00 and we’ll continue to Rawson Lake. The hike itself will be approx 4-5 hrs with an extra time at the lake to have our lunch and enjoy the scenery. Perhaps to even soak your feet.
The beginning of the trail is a good climb but we’ll take it, one step at a time. The lake is worth seeing plus the surroundings.
