RECON: with my adventurous skiing companions. 9 kms up Hwy 40 to parking lot. Ski into back end of junction with Pocaterra and close to Tyrwhitt. Intend to ski down Pocaterra as far as conditions allow then ski up Pocaterra to as far as conditions allow. Possibly a portion of Tyrwhitt. No grooming to be anticipated, so back country skis might be more “risk” proof.
