Have never hiked this Pipestone Loop but skied it at least 2 dozen times. There is no issue with Lake Louise (LL) as it has its own parking lot, turning up hill first right past LL. It is a picturesque loop hiking up alongside of Pipestone River then circles around past Pipestone Pond. We might include a short visit to Mud Lake, which is a very easy popular snowshoe. Grippers handy to have at this time of year. Alltrails suggests the shorter version to Pipestone pond but I am hoping to go counter-clockwise to the top, making it 13 kms. total circuit.
