This is a trip up the Chester Lake snowshoe trail to the second meadow, then crossing over to the next creek to the North and down that creek. We will return to Chester parking lot via the High Rockies Trail, as there is not enough snow to go over a “waterfall” and bushwhack to the road.
This trip involves some bushwhacking and a “bit” of sliding. (We will avoid the avalanche path that is on the north side of the creek by bushwhacking through the trees on the south side.).
