This would be considered a C–or D++ hike, due to the varied terrain: 9 bridges to cross (split logs but most have one railing). Recommend hiking boots and poles as there are a few water crossings with bigger rocks. Can watch climbers and two benches to rest at; one en route and the usual one at the end. Kevin Smith and other Meanderthals helped rebuild this trail. 7 bridges were destroyed.
If people want to meet in parking lot at Heart Creek for 9:30, it is 10 minutes drive from Canmore. Let me know who might need a ride? Just a half day hike and opportunity to commemorate the Tenth Anniversary of the Flood of 2013.
