Refresher to be held at the CSA office in Canmore – starting in Townside Hall (and hopefully somewhere nearby to practice! )- NOTE: please SIGN UP – even if you only think you MIGHT come – that way last minute changes can be communicated to you by email.
Please dress extra warm for our parctice, as we will be doing a lot of standing around talking & answering questions.
We will cover – Equipment (skis, snowshoes, poles, repairs etc), Pack Contents, Clothing & Extras, Finding Safe & Fun Places to Go for all kinds of skis and snowshoeing – including how to list and rank a trip, Techniques (breaking trail, obstacles route finding etc.) and making decisions in the field.
Helpers – please sign up as well so we get a count of all participants.
