Kicking Horse Fire Road is an out and back mostly flat trail, but scenic views of Emerald River and ski ending at Otterhead River at km 7. Trackset only by volunteers and not that often. Temps should remain below zero until then with some fresh snow in tracks. If everyone leaves Canmore at 9 am, we should be at Natural Bridge by 10:30. There is an outdoor biffy at parking lot. Natural Bridge is a big parking lot on left hand side about 2-3 kms up Emerald Lake Road, which exits soon after Field. Will confirm gas sharing price. This will give you an idea if you want to become involved in the Yoho Challenge the following w/e. Stopping in for a drink at Truffle Pigs and Lodge in Field will be an option following this trip.
