At Canmore Seniors Association our many different programs offer a wide variety of opportunities for socializing, learning and keeping active physically and mentally. Many of our classes are instructor-led, others organized by members. We try to keep fees (when applicable) to a minimum.
We also organize travel and trip events, for example a four-day visit to the Jasper Park Lodge, shopping excursions, and artistic performances.
Here is a listing of activities you can join, but this list just keeps on growing, so be sure to check our weekly newsletter and noticeboards regularly, or contact the CSA office.

Indoor Activities

Board Games – Rummikub, Chinese Mah Jongg, National Mah Jongg – Mondays 2 pm – 5 pm in Activities Room or, weather permitting, outside in the garden

Time to get up and out the door and join a fitness class? The weekly fitness classes will continue all summer long. Mon, Tues and Thursday mornings. Room for everyone. Floor Shuffleboard

Outdoor Activities

Bocce Ball – will begin on Tuesday, May 29

Bocce Ball is for interested CSA members from beginners to all levels of expertise. Our objectives are to get to know each other; and, to learn one of the best outside games played by seniors of all skill levels. Enjoy! A sign up sheet has been posted on the CSA Bulletin Board. Please sign in as soon as possible.

Croquet and Lemonade – restarting Monday, June 3 at 1:30 pm.

We welcome all members to join us in the Senior Garden; to play, cheer on the Croquet or just enjoy our beautiful garden with a glass of lemonade.

Lawn Bowls

Tuesday Outdoor Core is returning Tuesdays 9:30 am, starting June 11

We are keen to start early this year. Join us for a power walk, strength exercises as we motor around the town. All levels welcome but walking for one hour is key. Meet at the hall at 9:20 to sign in and grab some tubing then we will be on our way at 9:30am
The class will be inside if raining.
