Spoke with Lonnie, Custodian at the Lodge and YES, they are offering Lunch at the Lodge $30. This includes soup, salad, homemade bread, dessert, tea/coffee. The little Relais will hopefully also be open if people prefer to “brown bag” it. Trail last groomed Feb 13th, as I had hoped they would do for their Lodge guests. I am staying at Truffled Pigs Bistro with daughter and grandkids Feb 16 and 17, so shall meet you at Lk O’Hara parking lot around 10am. We are requested to aim to be at the Lodge between 12-1:30. Chuck is co-leader and will organize car pooling at Benchlands at 8:2o. There is one avalanche path on the ski in. This is an energetic ski, but lots of fun in new snow.
