This will be a winter hike from the Johnston Canyon parking lot to the Ink Pots and return. It will likely be busy in the canyon, however, it usually is much less so beyond the upper falls.
The trail is usually well packed so do bring grippers, however, snowshoes will not be needed. Also bring lunch/snacks along with bear spray and layered clothing.
Overall it is an easy to moderate hike, would note that there is elevation gain from the Ink Pots on return.
