We will take the gondola to Sunshine Village and Standish Chair lift up. Each hiker will need to purchase a pass for the gondola. This season Sunshine has a local’s 50% off deal. This works out to be 35$ plus GST for those 65+ and 40$ plus GST for those under 65. You MUST bring your drivers license to prove you are a Bow Valley resident. For those with a pass please BRING YOUR PASS.
We will hike around three lakes, Grizzly, Larix and Rock Isle. Back up the trail towards the Chair then over to Wawa and down.
Bring poles, lunch and bear spray. Be prepared for changing mountain weather conditions.
We will assess smoke and weather the day before the hike.
Arrive 10 min before 8:00 for carpooling.
